You’ll be asked to provide your secret PIN every time you use SWAP.

1-Make a Payment

You can make a payment to the SWAP Merchant whose SWAP Code you’ve dialled.

1. Pay from wallet

If you’ve transferred funds to your Wallet, you can choose the “Pay with Wallet” debit facility.

 

2. Pay with Credit Card

If you’ve linked a VISA or MasterCard credit card to your SWAP Wallet, you can make your payment from that.

2-Business Info When you dial a business’s SWAP Code you can easily look up that business’s contact details and address.

There are also two information menu items that will vary according to the nature of the business – this is where the business can keep you informed by advertising specials, sharing news or delivering other information.

3-SWAP

Choosing “SWAP” gives you access to information and functions available on your unique SWAP Wallet.

1. My Wallet

“My Wallet” lets you see how much you have available in your Wallet and how much is pending (after an Add Funds request, for example).

2. Wallet-to-Wallet You can transfer funds to someone else’s SWAP Wallet by performing a Wallet-to-Wallet transfer. You’ll need to know the cellphone number associated with the other person’s SWAP Wallet.
 
 
3. Add Funds Wallet balance running low?
The Wallet Add Funds function lets you request a
transfer from your linked bank account.
   
 
  4. Linked Accounts

‘Linked Accounts ‘lets you link a bank account or credit card. When you link your bank account to your SWAP Wallet you give yourself the option of using the Add Funds function – and  you can transfer credit amounts from your Wallet back to your bank account.

When you link your bank account to your SWAP Wallet you give yourself the option of requesting manual or automatic Wallet Top Ups and you can transfer credit amounts from your Wallet back to your bank account.

  2. Link a Credit Card When you link your VISA or MasterCard credit card to your SWAP Wallet you can start choosing between your Wallet and your credit card when you make a payment - even if you’re not carrying the card!
5. Mini Statement You can draw an on-phone mini-statement showing the last five payments made through SWAP from your linked credit card or from your SWAP Wallet.

2. Buy Airtime

SWAP Instant Airtime is available right from your cellphone. Airtime for any South African cellphone network is delivered by SMS and can be forwarded to another phone.
