1. Register a SWAP User profile
Click the registration link lower on this page – or follow the link from the SWAP home page – to create a username and password and fill some basic information such as your name, address and telephone numbers.
Make a note of the login details you choose. SWAP will e-mail you an activation link that you’ll click to reach the activation page of the SWAP Merchant Console and log in for the first time.
2. Apply for your SWAP Code
When you’re logged in, you’ll have the option of completing your application to become a fully-enabled SWAP Merchant. (This is also where you’ll apply for an additional SWAP Code should you require one later.)
You’ll be asked to provide personal and business information and details of the authorised signatory and you’ll enter contact and banking details. You’ll choose your notification options and indicate how often you want to receive your batch payments (daily or weekly). You’ll also define the screen name, contact details and business information your customers will see on their cellphones when they view your payment screen.
3. Stand by while the SWAP Customer Care Centre processes your application
SWAP will process your application and set up your details on the system and may contact you to confirm and authenticate your application.
4. Receive your SWAP Code.
Within seven to nine days, you’ll receive an introductory e-mail containing your SWAP Code.
As soon as you have your SWAP Code, you’re ready to start marketing it to your customers and to start receiving payments with SWAP.
